Q. Why do you need my password?
A. In order to provide you with a confirmed value we must run a few queries against the Twitter API that require us to authenticate you. Also once you approve ad copy we will be sending a direct message on you behalf to each of your followers. We are in the process of converting to Login Via Twitter which will no longer require your password be shared with us.
Q. What is a campaign?
A. RentMyFollowers.com will broadcast a marketing message for a third-party advertiser to each of your followers. You can approve the message prior to broadcast.
Q. How long does the campaign last?
A. We broadcast a maximum of 1000 messages per day. So if you have 12,000 followers the campaign will last 12 days.
Q. What are your followers worth?
A. Each one of your followers is currently worth .008 cents. Not very much really but when you multiply that by the number of followers it adds up quick.
Q. Why are they worth it?
A. We have built an ad serving tool that can push a direct message to your followers. Direct messages are more often read than tweets and therefore they are worth something to advertisers.
Q. How do I get paid?
A. We pay via PayPal When your balance reaches $50.
Q. How often can I rent them?
A. Currently you can rent your followers 1 time per week. We do not wish to annoy your followers we want to benefit them.
Q. Why wouldn't I want to do this?
A. Occasionally, when your followers receive an Ad from us they (on average about 1%) may stop following you and/or block you. This is bad. However, you can always attract new followers with Follower FinderTM.
